Chapter 1, Spiritual Invasion
Every believer must re-examine himself or herself concerning the presence of idols.

How can we invade the enemy territory when we still have alliance with the enemy?

Beloved, it is time for us to re-examine ourselves individually to find out the kind of idol that has taken the place of God in our lives. Remember this is not the time of pretences or double standards, but a time of grace to thoroughly re-examine yourself and ask God for forgiveness.

Chapter 2, The Key that Unlocks Heaven
When praying, do not give God instructions, report for duty.

I love this statement best, guess most of the time we give God instructions, instead of reporting for duty. From now on, “YES SIR!”

Chapter 3, Prayer Symbols and Approaches
Highest Honor
Church of the Living God, understand that it is the highest honor for mortal man to be able to speak to the immortal Almighty God. It is a very great privilege and honor, but why do people shy away from this scepter of prayer? … Some people say they do not know how to pray. Some give the excuse that they are too busy. A few other people will tell you that it is not for everybody. And there are many who say they want to do it, but do not find time and keep postponing it. Why must you take God to be like a lawyer, only to be contacted when you face a problem?

Beloved, your chief enemy is yourself, your flesh. You do not want to overcome those things that bar you from praying. You continue to do what you want to do. The man who kneels before the presence of God will stand against all odds. Flesh does not like spiritual things and prayer is a spiritual exercise for spiritual people.

How much time do you spend praying? If you are one controlled by your flesh, you will scarcely handle the staff of prayer. If you are the type controlled by your emotions you would hardly be able to handle the staff of prayer. There are some people who feel uncomfortable when they are asked to pray, because they are at a loss of how to do so.

If you want to break through the barriers of not being able to pray, all you need to do is to reach out to God and He will give you the grace. Just tell God about your inability to pray sincerely and ask Him to help you out. The minute you do that, you have already begun to pray!

Chapter 5, Various Types of Prayer
Prayer of Agreement
When two came together in prayer, “corporate anointing” is released. The devil cannot stand “corporate anointing” when released. It is time for the church to come together in oneness of spirit, in one accord and unity of faith to chase the devil and to put him where he belongs. By doing so, we resist him and put him to flight.

Chapter 6, The Excellence of Prayer
Living, active and scriptural faith (James 2:17-18, 20, 26)
Our faith should be active and not dormant. Faith must produce works. Without works, faith is dead. Your works manifest your faith. There are many people who cannot believe God for a single thing – not even for a grain of sand. But they go around boasting about having great faith. Faith is proven with the works it performs. Put your faith into action. Do not just talk about your faith. Put it into action because your faith must produce results, otherwise it is dead.
